just incase anyones thinking of getting the new battlefield game i urge you not to
it includes software which you would think of as spyware if it werent for the slip of paper they stick in warning you that to play the game they will monitor your internet habits through data mining and then place ingame ad's it would have been construed as illegal
I can accept that ingame ad's are going and have already occured but the fact that they have basically granted themselves rights to monitor your every move on the internet is a disgrace. Sure they have implied its only while ingame, but ive yet to see an official statement which clearly says it will only be ingame, it very well coul donly be ingame but by accepting the software you have in fact given them permission should they so change their mind to monitor all you internet activity.

i actually had my copy at the counter in game fortunately she asked if i knew it contained spyware, i said "guess what you can put it back on the shelf think i'll just be taking splnter cell insted" anyway ive googled it and pff EA may have been twats before but now they are fucking twats raping the arse out of every gamer out there needless to say im not going to buy anything EA related again.
