ok i think i sorted this out kinda

once you've made your mii you ned to set it up to both travel and 'mingle'

travel is easy enough, but mingle seems to be set to 'off' unless you go switch it on. to mingle edit your mii by dragging it onto the edit button, then go to the first icon at the top left (where you set up your birthday and favorite colour) and set it to mingle. this means that whether you're playing a game or offline your mii will go visit other people's wii's.

once both wii numbers have added each other you can use the 'friends' mail to send your mii to them direct. or if they're set to 'mingle' and 'travel' they'll eventually turn up on your wii for a visit. lol

i've no idea if that made sense, but hell its 4.30 am. i'm looking at charlton, throttle, alex and i all walking around on my mii, listening to the funky elevator music and generally enjoying myself.

i just added spanky so i feel a party coming on!
