You know there is no visible difference between 1080i and 1080p! All the shit about 1080p is just a marketing ploy to get people to part with their cash.

So there is a visible difference between 1080i and 1080p? Well when I looked there wasn't and pretty much every review out there states the same.
The people that splash out on 1080p TV's just will an increase in quality.
Depending on TV Brand and image engine the Blacks maybe slightly darker.
