Yeah, got the dreaded 3 red lights
anybody know the number to ring and the precedure (ie - do you take your harddrive off and do you need to send anything back with it? or shall I just feck it out the window and buy an elite console or a new one
)

Take hard drive out, wait for a pick up.
Get a different console back usually, which has been "refurbished"
so id buy an elite
i had the RROD not so long ago,
you go on the xbox website, then sign in, support, resigter your xbox and say that you want it to be repaired, and then they will give you some instructions then send it away. Then about 3 weeks later you should have your xbox back!

Nevermind Mashers, I've gone through 4 Xbox 360 replacements, however the last time M$ sent me a console which was less than two weeks old, and it's been fine for almost a year now.
Give us a shout when your back online
