played this game for about 9 hours straight yesterday,
ive played a few games
and this has to be one of the best EVER !
I won't spoil anything for those who havnt played it yet, but already there have been some stand out moments.
Weapon wise it has loads of great guns with changable parts like COD4.
Not tried online yet, but I enjoyed the beta so it should be good.
It is absolutely bloody amazing!!!!! I heard a lot of "wont live up to expectations" type thing and magazines doing poor reviews but got it yesterday and WOW!!!
Sad as it sounds I actually booked 1/2 shift off work just to carry on playin with surround sound blaring and without the misses in the house, it was worth it!!
Music and sound effects are truly mind blowing.

Is it the game to justify the purchase of a PS3???????
I'm hoping yes...........But then again I'm hoping no - cos my boilers on the blink, British Gas fixed it yesterday, broke again this morning - they are coming back on Monday - wouldn't get BG to install a new one - but looking at a couple thousand ££££ if I decide to get a new boiler, rads etc installed by another company (also want it relocated to the kitchen).

Erm still buy a ps3 have it vertical, run your water pipe to boiler over the top vents of ps3 bam hot water.
And winter it generates plenty of heat!
Its a bit chilly out here in the sticks, my cats have just worked out the Plasma gives out a fair bit of heat and have decided to plonk themselves in front of the screen,,,,,,,,,,,
May have to do the PS3 on the old Credit Card

there are cheaper ways to heat cats up then getting them to sit on a ps3
Im about 8 or 9 hours in and so far its just stunning being an MGS fan from MGS1 its a dream come true playing a game like this it has all the elements needed to finally finish this story!
indeed charlton have to agree 100%, though this game is full of kojima moments the bits you see and the bits you dont.
You know on cut scenes L1 pops up and when you pressit gives a view from snakes eyes.
When you replay and meet noami for the first time (agreed she looks fit) snake droped the cig but no L1 appears, bet you were hoping it would

Shit ive just done that part and he dropped the cig and I almost did L1 but didnt because it didnt show symbol!
