After what seems like a fucking age, I have updated/registered/authorised/created_character on my copy of MGO. A process that takes about 45mins.
Does anyone else play this online? when are we getting together for a game.
what takes 45mins? cos fuck going online otherwise
launch game
go into the online bit
download the update
install the update
restart game
go into the online part of the game
sign up for two new ID's
check email and authorise the konami ID (for buying from the shop)
login in the online portion of the game
create an online identity/character
finally begin playing
and COD4 it aint, nothing like it, would rather have cod4 at lvl1
have you brought cod4 for the ps3? ive got it but never bothered with it as everyone was on the 360 but been playing it today on a massive screen and its made me want to play it
we'll only be disappointed, it just wont be the same as s1 and cant honestly see it beating cod4 in the multiplayer arena as its just damn near perfect
of course i still intend to buy it and play it all night for about 3 months before deciding its not as good as s1
no I dont have cod4 on the ps3, only the 360, lent my copy to my brother along with mass effect, probably the reason why he hasnt bothered to get a job yet.
It was just getting online with MGO was a big pain in the arse and the 360 its so friggin easy.
Has anyone noticed an improvement in online on the ps3 using a wired connection over wireless?
oh, i have mass effect, i bought it the other day cheap, put it on the shelf and forgot about it !!!!!!

tis shite, you cant create a clan unless you have 20 hours of online game play and the servers wont let me or kekie host a free room

used to have it set up wireless, but my router now sits next to the ps3 so i plugged it in but cant say ive noticed any difference

It hasn't got the fun of a good clan match as socom has. Not sure why but probably the round system.
Hopefully have a ps3 by the time it comes out
