Hello friends!
Been a tad busy of late, and email fookage uppage has led to a lot of lost contacts with a lot of yous. Not to mention you guys and gals all leaping to the next gen (this gen) and poor me got left behind.
Well got 360 now, have had one for some time now, but only really had Gold membership for the trial period last year or so. Managed to catch MrMr and MrsMrs on bomberman, Agent47\AgentTiro on Pro evo and Congojoe on crackdown and numerous games with random peeps on halo3 before trial ran out.
Anywho, the time has come for myself (after easy convincing and help by totti) I have finally got 13 months of Goldness.
So what does this mean? Well i'm back, and I want to play with my online buddies again. Tried playing with randomers, but they annoying.
Do you guys and gals still play 360 or just the PS3 these days? I know fishy has gone full circle and decided to use ps3 as console and 360 as doorstop. What games you play online nowadays? oh and when?

if your hanging around with totti, cod4 on 360 is a good bet, mashers tends to wind up on it after the pub.
ps3 seems to be socom and little big planet betas at the moment.

our gaming is a bit split at the moment - a few of us waiting for socom 'proper' on ps3, a few of us still playing lots of cod on 360.
most of us have both 360 and ps3 and get together when people are on.
when we played a socom friendly not long ago about 12 of us turned up (i think) so there's plenty of us around, just need to organise what night and when and people get together.
i'm off on holiday on thursday until end of october, by then there should be a couple of new things we can have a play with

360's pretty much COD4 at the mo and pretty random - big hint to someone to organise a game............
PS3 is Socom and LBP beta, but once socom released we'll be on that mostly

Thanks for the game last night lads, it really brought back the good ol memories.
It was the first time I spoke on call of duty 4 during a match, as normally i keep it on mute as I know for a fact I will end up offending all those lil shits (so many lil shits!).
It was good to be playing with lots of people who are all friendly and not annoying, and to hear mashy once more (been years seen i heard his cockney voice). Although I confess, I didn't know who you all were, though I did recognise some names. Sorry for leaving early, I had to go and play another sort of game

Anywho, I sorta locked myself out of my old email and cant get back into it, so had to make new one, hence you aint seen me online.

is it worth it? oh and btw, In some of those games we played, I had no idea what I was meant to do. There was some sorta objective, but didnt have a clue what it was or how to do it, so just killed people instead (on both sides....sorry mashers)
Yes the map pack is well worth it, and I think it is half price atm.
We normally play hardcore mode though, which is straight up deathmatch but with no radar, friendly fire and pretty much 1 or 2 shot kills. That mode is limited to parties of 6 though, when we have more than 6 we have to play "Groundwar" which is limited to 9 per team.
Groundwar alternates between deathmatch and domination, in domination we need to capture 2 of the 3 letters and hold them, whilst kicking the other teams ass - kills don't win the game, only time holding the capture points does.
