about time they announced it really, and from the looks of the vid they've been busy rebuilding some of the classic levels
i havent got my hopes up for this.. socom starts out good then goes downhill after u get hundreds on and everyone learns how to cheat and glitch and exploit lag

yeah i cant wait for socom aswell...wasnt a big fan off it at the start but really enjoyed it from near the end of socom 3 till present..drag ur a big moaner lol

I am hoping it will be like the old days when we can all get into it and play some matches with some very old friends. However, looking at the gameplay vids, i have to say it looks a little wank... This could run on the PS2... The levels are not detailed at all. I mean theres gears of war detail and theres incredibly low res textures. Guess where S4 is at....
I know socom was never about the gfx, but the gamepay looks nothing special either, same old basic stuff.
Think i'll stick to Crysis on the PC! PS Beta might change my mind.
